Caramelized Onion Garnish
- 1/2 large onion, cut into fine rings
- Vanilla Stevia, to taste
- pinch of salt
- 4 tbsp lemon juice
- water (as needed)
- Preheat skillet. Add a small amount of water, lemon juice, and Stevia to pan.
- Add onion rings and cook quickly, periodically deglazing the pan with more water to create a sweet sauce.
- Serve immediately over steak or chicken, and spoon any remaining sauce created by deglazing over the top. This can also be served chilled and/or added as a topping to salads.
