What to expect

Your journey begins when you log in to a private, secured telemedicine portal for your one-on-one consultation with a Licensed Medical Provider. They will discuss your health history, weight loss goals, and lifestyle so they can prescribe the best program individualized to you. We require all new patients to complete lab work to ensure they can proceed safely. Most patients can start a program right away. Your medication and the Red Mountain Starter Kit will be delivered right to your door! You will feel an overwhelming sense of relief as you begin your program, knowing you have a partner alongside you every step of the way.

How long will my virtual weight loss appointment be?

The initial consultation lasts approximately 90 minutes. Make sure you have access to the internet during this time.

How much do online weight loss programs cost?

Your first telemedicine appointment will cost $55, which covers your initial patient consultation. You are then free to decide whether to participate in one of our weight loss programs, which range from $199 to $599. We also offer several financing options to help you cover the program’s cost.

What are GLP-1 medications and how do they work?

GLP-1s are a type of weight loss medication shown to help patients achieve and sustain their healthy weight. They are a synthetic glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) that mimics a protein made in the intestine that stabilizes blood sugar and insulin levels. They also delay “gastric emptying,” making you feel full faster and longer.

At Red Mountain, we offer GLP-1s in Miami to help you achieve your ideal body and weight loss goals. Book an appointment with one of our Licensed Medical Provider and ask if GLP-1s are right for you.

Are there any benefits to telemedicine appointments rather than in-person appointments?

Your telemedicine consultation will be like a regular in-person visit, except you can meet with your Licensed Medical Provider from home or wherever you feel most comfortable. There is no need to drive to a physical location. You can access all the benefits of our weight loss programs without the commute!

While most people prefer a diet plan and ongoing support from our Clinical Team, some simply want the GLP-1 medications. For those patients, we have DirectMed.
