Orange Sorbet

Orange Sorbet


  • 2 cups orange juice {the juice of approximately 6 oranges at room temperature}*
  • 4-6 Tbsp Splenda®
  • 1-2 Tbsp water


  1. Squeeze the juice out of the oranges.
  2. Pour Splenda® into a small saucepan and add 1 tbsp water, or just enough so that the sugar can completely dissolve when heated over low heat.
  3. Once the Splenda® has dissolved, add it to the orange juice and sweeten to taste. Chill the juice for 1 hour or until cold.
  4. Pour the mixture into a freezer-safe pan and alternate freezing it and whisking it with a fork to beat the ice crystals out.
  5. If you won’t be serving immediately, place sorbet in the freezer in a sealed container. Prior to serving, let the sorbet sit at room temperature for 5-10 minutes, then enjoy!
