BBQ Grilled Chicken with Homemade Rub – RM3® & GLP Elite™

Ingredients

  

Chicken Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts (4 oz. each)
  • Walden Farms® Original BBQ Sauce

BBQ Rub Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp Lakanto Monk Fruit Brown Sugar Sweetener
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 2 tsp cumin
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp mustard powder

Instructions

 

  • Mix the ingredients for the rub in a bowl. Season the chicken breasts on both sides.
  • Place the seasoned chicken on the grill over indirect heat and close the lid.
  • Rotate the chicken 180° every 15 minutes, and cook until internal temperature is 150°F.
  • Move the chicken over direct heat and baste it with BBQ sauce. Cook for 2 minutes. Flip the chicken and baste it with more sauce. Cook for another 2 minutes.
  • Continue this process 2 to 3 times until the chicken is charred or the internal temperature is 160°F.
  • Take the chicken off the grill. Let it rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.
