Revolex TRZ™ vs. Mounjaro® & Zepbound™: How Do They Compare?

Mounjaro® and Zepbound™ have received a lot of buzz lately thanks to its key ingredient: tirzepatide. It mimics the actions of two receptors, GLP-1 and GIP, and was recently approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for weight management in November 2023.

Revolex TRZ Is a Daily Tablet

Revolex TRZ is a sublingual tablet taken once a day that eliminates the need for shots or needles. All you need to do is dissolve the medication under your tongue (which takes 1-3 minutes), and you are done!

Mounjaro and Zepbound are a once-weekly injection that can be administered in your stomach, thighs, or the back of your upper arms. A few steps are required to prepare the single-dose pen and give yourself the injection. The medication must be stored in the refrigerator from 36°F to 46°F and cannot be used if exposed to light, frozen, or at temperatures above 86°F. The pen also contains glass parts, so a new pen must be used for your injection if dropped on a hard surface.

Revolex TRZ Starts at a Higher Strength from Day 1

Red Mountain’s Revolex TRZ starts at an effective dose for weight management. Since it’s a daily tablet, you are able to start Revolex TRZ at a higher dosage and don’t have to titrate up.

Mounjaro and Zepbound come in 6 different dose strengths. The medication starts at 2.5 mg once a week (for 4 weeks) and continues to 5 mg once weekly for at least 4 weeks. If additional glycemic control is needed, the dose can be increased (once weekly for at least 4 weeks) to 7.5 mg, 10 mg, 12.5 mg, and then 15 mg as a maximum dose.

Revolex TRZ Has Fewer Side Effects

Commercial brands like Mounjaro and Zepbound are known to cause GI side effects like nausea, constipation, abdominal pain, and diarrhea. Revolex TRZ’s proprietary blend distributes the dosage of tirzepatide throughout the week and includes additional peptides to help reduce negative side effects. The ingredients also work to improve digestive/gut health, insulin sensitivity, and preserve muscle mass.

Revolex TRZ Doesn’t Take Away from the Diabetics Supply
