Smashed Cauliflower


  • 1 ½ cup cauliflower
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • salt and pepper (to taste)


  1. Fill a deep pot halfway with salted water and bring to a boil. Wash the cauliflower, cut into florets, and add to boiling water.
  2. Cook the cauliflower until soft or about 15 – 20 minutes. Drain all liquid.
  3. Add cooked cauliflower and milk to a bowl. Use a hand mixer to puree the cauliflower. Add garlic, salt and pepper to taste.
