What is DirectMed?
DirectMed is a subscription medication plan that features weight loss medications. Your prescription is automatically refilled every 4 weeks and shipped directly to you.
How does DirectMed subscription plan work?
Schedule a consultation with one of our Medical Providers to evaluate your needs and develop a treatment plan based on your health history, lifestyle, and weight loss goals.
Your prescription medication will come directly from our licensed pharmacy partner and will be delivered up to 7-10 business days later. Then, every 4 weeks, we will automatically refill your prescription and ship your new 4-weekly doses directly to you.
How much does it cost?
DirectMed is $399 per month for 12 months with a one time-initiation fee of $100, plus an annual Prescription Renewal Consultation with the Medical Provider ($99/yr).
How often will I be billed for my DirectMed subscription?
You will be billed every 28 days when we refill your prescription for your next 4 weekly shots. You must call us to ask about any adjustments to your next month’s dosage or to cancel your subscription. We cannot make any changes after we have processed your prescription refill for your next month’s shipment.
Do you take health insurance?
We accept most Health Savings and Flexible Savings cards however we do not process health insurance reimbursements. We also offer Interest-Free Financing through the Advance Care Card. Click here to learn more about financing.
How is my medication shipped?
Your medication is shipped in climate-controlled packaging. It includes medication vials and extra syringes, alcohol wipes, instructions for self-drawing and self-administering the shots, and storage requirements.
How soon will I receive my shipment?
Once your first prescription has been processed following your initial consultation, your medication will arrive up to 7-10 business days later and it will come directly from our licensed pharmacy partner.
Is there a signature required upon delivery?
A signature is not required for delivery.
How often will I receive my shipment?
Every 28-days, we will automatically process your 4-week prescription refill and the pharmacy will ship it to you.
How do I renew my subscription?
Your subscription will automatically renew every 28-days for the first year. However, you are required to meet with our Clinical Team at least once per year to renew your prescription. One month before your 12-month prescription expires, you will receive email communications alerting you to schedule your annual renewal appointment, or you can call 800.239.7830 to schedule your appointment before your next refill date. There will be a $99 charge for your annual prescription renewal appointment.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Call us at 800.239.7830 to make any adjustments to your subscription plan. There are no cancellation fees for future prescription refills, but we can not make any changes nor refunds to any refills that have already been processed.
